The pre-conference workshops are specifically designed for hands-on training, broken into new and advanced user groups. The main conference covers a broader range of topics related to each specialty as well as other healthcare related topics. They are separate events and while you don’t have to attend both, we strongly recommend you do.
The new user workshops are ideal for practices hiring new staff or looking to learn EMA fundamentals. The existing users workshops are for anyone who has been live for 6+ months. Check out our Pre-Conference page for more information.
Comfortable business casual or resort casual attire is recommended for the entire event. Even though you will be in Florida, expect cooler A/C temperatures inside, so please dress accordingly.
Both breakfast and lunch will be provided on Saturday. On Sunday, only breakfast will be provided.
We encourage you to bring your iPad for the main conference. If you cannot, a laptop is acceptable. For all advanced pre-conference workshops, an iPad is required.
No, the only way to view the sessions is to attend.
  • Cancellation notices must be received in writing by our event support team via email:
  • If notice is received by October 15, 2018 registration fees will be refunded minus a $100 administration fee.
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after October 15, 2018.
  • In the instance of cancellation, adjustments will be made for any group discounts previously added.
Yes. Register a group of four or more and each person will receive a $150 discount. Sending more than ten people? Register the first ten people at the group discount, and then email to receive a code for an additional $100 discount off of subsequent registrations. Group registration must be submitted at the same time. Offers apply only to the Main Conference Sessions and may not be redeemed for Pre-Conference Training Workshops.

Plan for a 20-minute taxi ride from the Orlando airport to the JW Marriott & Ritz Carlton Grande Lakes.
No, everything for the conference is onsite. However, if you plan on taking a day trip, a rental car may be appropriate.

The meeting space connects the hotels to each other. Both hotels are equally accessible to the meeting space and to each other.

Arrival & Schedule

Because classes begin early on Friday, you should plan to arrive the night before on Thursday, November 15th.
You should plan to arrive on Friday, November 16th before the opening reception from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM.
